IMPORTANT: Please note, in this current time of uncertainty, that this event will only take place on the designated date if government health and safety restrictions due to COVID-19 are lifted. Please note the event may be postponed to a new date once COVID-19 restrictions are removed. CIMA is in constant contact with the conference and will notify applicants and participants of any changes that effect the production of this event or our participation in it with our members and partners.

The American Association of Independent Music (A2IM) is a non-profit organization that serves as the sole, unified voice representing a broad coalition of music labels from the independent music community in the United States. A sister organization to CIMA, A2IM works as a portal for its independent music label members to access opportunities for commerce, education and advocacy/lobbying. Held annually, A2IM Indie Week brings together these opportunities for the benefit of their label members, and are extending an exclusive, limited invitation to Canadian independent labels/managers to participate! 

This year, A2IM will be hosting their 15th edition of A2IM Indie Week 2020 in New York City from June 16-19, 2020. CIMA is pleased to announce that we will be joining A2IM's Indie Week 2020 and organizing a business development mission to NYC for Canadian independent music companies. 

Please note that there may be a showcasing opportunity during this years mission. If you are interested in applying for an artist please include that information in the form below. More details to follow. 

This mission is an excellent opportunity for labels and managers to network with key international contacts across a variety of industries with a focus on A2IM's US members. 

**Any CIMA/A2IM dual members are eligible for the A2IM member price 

Mission Details: This mission is only open to CIMA member companies in good standing. The cost associated with this opportunity is $525USD per delegate. 

How to apply: There is no longer a limit on participating companies who sign up with CIMA's initiative. However, you are encouraged to sign up as early as possible to ensure that you don't miss out on registering for the one-on-one meetings. 

Eligible Criteria: 

• Businesses looking to enhance their contacts in New York City in order to develop and/or further existing relationships. 

• Businesses who do not currently have US representation. 

• A2IM's preference is given to managers and labels. 

If you meet the criteria outlined above, please submit your applications before Friday, April 24, 2020.
